You know, I heard Ron Paul on Meet The Press a few months ago and was refreshed at how open he was. He feels how he feels, and doesn’t have a problem expressing it. My dad pointed out, quite truthfully, that he could speak like that because he had a negative chance of getting the nomination, let alone become president.

And here comes Barack Obama to charm the fucking pants off of anyone with a pulse (that isn’t a bigot), and come off, to me, 100% genuine (or at least 99%). Effective presidents speak and lead with charisma, and Barack Obama, “inexperienced” or otherwise, seems to be a great fit for me.

(stolen from Wooster Collective)Geek (in more ways than one) graffiti. I really don’t think “fuck Bush” has traction anymore, especially after observing the State of the Union Address on Monday and how weak his presidency has become, but I’m a sucker for HTML/XML/XHTML nods. Sue me.

Oh fuck, seriously! Watching this at 1AM and not waking up my roomates with uproarious laughter is a daunting task. Sometimes, I can be a very simple man.

Seeing this gives me the impression that the people behind Yo Gabba Gabba! are actually quite smart and “with it” so to speak. Getting kids to interact with your show via beatboxing with Biz Markie is not only hilarious, but totally genius. Am I the only one who imagines kids actually doing this and having a great time at it? It’s funny how the most positive contributions of hip hop today are relegated to the underground and ridiculous children’s shows.

Slingshot Dakota - This band is awesome and I think IfYouMakeIt has some really awesome stuff going on.
